In November of 2017, 2016 and 2014, I was presented with the “BEST BLOCKER” award by the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) at their annual awards ceremony. It was such an honor to be voted by my fellow athletes and it was definitely a team effort despite being an individual award. A huge thank you goes out to my partner, my strength coach, my sports psych and of course my coach and wonderful husband!
Fendrick was the top women’s blocker on the AVP this year, recording 1.57 blocks/game which tops the Tour amongst female players. –AVP.com
